Transaction report with first and last name in separate fields?

Is it possible to get the transaction report to export first and last names in separate fields?

Right now it only exports full name in one field.

That's really not helpful, because the customer directory report has first and last broken out but does not have full name.

Trying to tie a specific transaction to a specific person requires Excel gymnastics on the customer report to merge together first and last name to match to the full name on the transaction report.

It makes it a mess trying to get gifts matched to donors.

Currently there's not a way to separate the first and last name into two different columns in the transaction report. I believe this has something to do with the way the names are transmitted into our system from the actual card itself. There's an integration between the two that needs to be built out.

I shared your feedback with our Product team. If I get a little more insight into they why, I'll come back and share it with you here.
