Default Product Image

I've imported a list of hundreds of products and I would like to have a default image (that says Image coming soon) while I work on getting the images. Is there a way to change the default image for a product item? It currently has the default image of a price tag for the items that I have added - can I change that price tag image?

Hey @Cara1! Thanks for joining the Seller Community. 😀

The image if the price tag is the only default image we have available. If you wanted to, you could create your own image that says "item coming soon" and upload it for each item that you don't currently have pictures for.

I haven't heard this feature request before, so I appreciate you bringing it up. I'll make sure to pass this along to our Product team.

What a ridiculous answer... There is no reason to not have a placeholder image defined in your application. What you do is take your default image "price tag" and make a variable in your dashboard for each of your users where they can upload the image either into your library or into a folder that holds the designated default image.
