Square Appointments: How do I only show “Add Service” button and not “add item or discount” button?

How do I only show the “Add Service” button option, and not the “items and discounts” button, in Square Appointments, on the user – interface? When clients view the appointment booking options, I only want the ability for them to add a Service… Not to the “items or discounts”, which are features we use, in-house, when applying descriptive labels to different payments received.

Hey there @kbob - The Add Items option is not client-facing and will not be seen by clients on your booking site.

Okay - thanks. I could've sworn I'd seen it as an option on some iteration of the site (from the customers' booking viewpoint) but perhaps I was still signed into some page, in the setup process, still. Working out the kinks, as this platform is new to me, still. But appreciate the confirmation (no pun 😉

Hi,

I am a photographer and have many services... I am now creating a website with detailed dedicated pages to each service (wedding page, newborn page, maternity page, etc.) On each respective page, I would like for the user to book its respected service - possibly like a book now without having them go thru the long list of services and modifiers, etc. ... Basically like the link button you can create for an item. Is this possible?

Hi @LindaVani

You can create a customized button, then insert the html code on the respective page using the Embed Code section.

From the Square dashboard, click Appointments > Online Booking > Custom Widget
