How can I change how long someone’s service will be?

I’m wondering if I can adjust the amount of time a service is booked for. For instance one persons hilites may only take me 2 hours and another may take 4, how can I adjust the length of time for appointments without having to make separate services for it? Also a lot of times I don’t know what their service will cost until it’s done, why do I have to add a price when booking?

Hi @Mkuhs,

Thank you for your patience while we looked into this.

So, for the different time durations, you do have to create them as either separate services or variations. For Salons you could create Haircut Apprentice - 60mins, Haircut Master stylist 45 mins, and assign the appropriate staff accordingly. As far as no fee, there has to be a fixed fee assigned, but that can be $0 then use the display price as "Call for price, $0"
