How to charge for services via website.

On online checkout tab I have options to create checkout links. When I create a such link only "donation" option has "Amount" "Entered by customer" option. It works for us except that we do not want "donate" appear on the page generated by link. We are service company and we do not have any preset prices. It is why we need amount to be entered by customers. I cannot find any other way to provide simply link for customers to enter payment amount by themselves.

Any ideas?

Hey @ETMD -

Currently there's no way to change the 'donate' verbiage. Beside donation links, checkout links require a fixed price and cannot be set up to collect custom amounts entered by customers.

It would be very helpful if Square can implement this. It is a necessity for every medical office. Each patient has different amount of co-payments/ deductibles and it would be extremely easy to just point them to our website and tell them to enter amount and pay there. Currently we have to spend a lot of time with each patient on the phone collecting CC information. Creating custom link for each case is not productive ether. I would imagine such feature would help not just medical office but also any law practice.

Since you have "donation" feature I would imagine it would not take a lot of codding to create pay feature with variable amount.
