Non-Profit Donations

I have looked a couple of places and have not found a complete answer.

I am working with a not-for-profit organization that would like to begin accepting donations on our website. I have seen other sites that have allowed the option to donate the processing fee for the donation. (The question is there - would you like to make an additional donation to cover the credit card processing fee?) There is then a yes or no option. If yes is selected the system automatically calculates the amount and adds it to the total

Is that currently available with Square?

Also, is the fee charged different when accepting donations for a non-profit?

Square doesn't currently offer a way for donors to cover the processing fee.

There is not a discounted fee structure for non-profits or for accepting donations, @Mjdoyle - read more on this here in this thread. I can also confirm that the "donation request" feature you're requesting is not currently something available with Square.

These Best Practices for non-profits and donation based organizations are worth taking a look through, if you haven't already!
