thread Square for Restaurants: One item here and one item to go in Archived Discussions (Read Only)

When I use the Here or To Go options with Square for Restaurants, it requires we select the item, go to another screen and then check here or to go.

I'd like to have an item called Widget A To Go and another called Widget A for Here. I'd like them both to reduce the inventory for Widget A.

Is that possible or is there another way to have the Here or To Go option without having to go to another screen?

You can create a function button that you're able to add to your POS screen, @hooverdlh! If you set this up, you'll be able to hit the button, and your ticket itself will say To Go or Here on it. Here are the steps you'll want to follow:

Menu > edit POS layout > click where you would like your button to live > select function > scroll to dining option > select To Go or Here

If you need a little help with this, please give our Support team a call and ask to speak with a Square for Restaurants specialist. They'll definitely be able to take care of you!
