Understand Square terminal is a stand alone device providing I have wifi.

What I want is to take terminal to flea market, sell with square terminal off line. Take device home after the sales day and let device connect with my home wifi without using my computer or phone. Can the Square terminal do this?

Yes, you can use Offline Mode with your Square Terminal. Take a look at this Support Article (under Manage Payments) for more information.

Thanks read article. Since terminal needs internet I need to plug terminal into my computer since I don't have internet on my phone...Unless terminal can connect to internet bu wireless connection to my my wifi. Is this correct?

Hi there, @bmatteson - I can step in for Kassi here! Your Terminal can connect wirelessly to any WiFi connection or wirelessly to a mobile hostpot.
