finding out who paid me

I am asking for donations for my online classes, and I want to be able to see who donated what when. On the initial report of the transaction I can see the name, but not when I try to go back to that transaction. The donor's name is no longer available? How can I go back to see who did what when?

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.

Are these customer/donor names already added into your Customer Directory? If not, we gather the customers name from the magnetic strip on the back of payment cards, so if a card isn’t swiped (and processed online), we can’t capture a customer’s name.

If they were already added in your customer directory, you can export a transactions .csv and see their name in one of the columns. Let me know!
