Can we see an item description in an online checkout link?

Hello,

I want to sell an item using a online checkout link but I want people to be able to see the item description so that I can give them some information about the item.

Is that possible? I haven't been able to find a way.

Hey @amptc!

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.

I tried creating a checkout link and following the instructions in this article but was unable to reproduce it so that the item description showed up on my checkout link.

I went ahead and flagged this over to our Engineering Team to see if the article is how it should be functioning, and perhaps there's an internal bug. I will let you know when I hear back from the team. Thanks for your patience on this.

Can I enter an item description for online checkout w/ recurring payment?

It seems like I dont have an option to enter descriptions for subscription based items in online checkout. Am I missing something?

Hi @Adam3,

I moved your post to another post where a seller had the same question.

It appears this is some sort of error as they should show and the ticket is still in progress. We'll loop back once we know more or once it's been resolved. Sorry for the trouble.

I am having this same problem! The description was there at first and now it has disappeared. Any solutions to this? Thank you!

Hey @roughdraftny,

I moved your post to an existing thread where other sellers weren't seeing them anymore too.

It's a bug since they should show there and our engineering team is stil looking into it. I'll be sure to loop back here once it's been resolved and I also reached out asking if there's any updates again too.
