cancel domain transfer error

I'm trying to cancel a domain transfer to square. I keep getting a "something went wrong" message every time. I canceled the transfer away from my initial provider because it said it would transfer to "register.com" and I thought that was a mistake at first? (Is a domain transfer supposed to go to register.com, Inc when connecting to a square online site?) I'm trying to cancel the transfer through square so that I can start the process over again, but I keep getting the aforementioned error message and I am blocked from canceling. I've paid for the everything already.

HI, domains can be difficult. From your message, I understand you processed a transfer of your domain from the domain provider so Square could be your provider. A full transfer moves your domain from, say example GoDaddy to Square. I believe Square uses Register.com to receive and manage domains. The full transfer can take up to 5-7 business days.
