Ending the year and starting fresh for the next

I would like to clean up my inventory listing for 2021, but am unsure about deleting products. Not how to delete them, but rather when is it safe to delete them? Is there a report I should run beforehand? Should I wait until after Dec. 31? I don't want to lose any information I need, or should be keeping, but know that some of the products currently in inventory, I will not be reordering moving forward. Thanks for the guidance!

I have found that even if I delete, hide, or make an item unavailable, it will still show up on any reports I run from the past. I hope that helps!

Hey @inthemaking !

@SpadaFarmhouse is correct - if you delete an item it will still show up in your sales reports.

So if you're completely done with it, you can delete it at any time.

But if you're still selling an item and you have some stock left in inventory, you should not delete it - you will lose that information.
