What happened to the credit card minimum?

For the longest time on the POS there was the $1 minimum for any credit/debit cards. Today (1/31/23) we found that was removed with no notice! This is a big issue because we could easily start losing money when someone tries to use a credit card on a $0.16 transaction! Has anyone heard anything or does Square now have a way where we can add our own minimum to transactions?

As a business owner, you can let your customers know that you have a minimum transaction amount. We will make sure to pass your feedback on to our product team.
