    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, I'm very new to Square. I'm looking at the Customer Directory &amp;amp; there are several names with info about what they ordered &amp;amp; how much they spent but there isn't any contact info. How can I collect email, phone and/or addresses at checkout? Is this a form that has to be completed at the time of the sale? I was anticipating that some of this info would auto-populate when payment was given.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Frida,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; I create my classes as an event item in my online store.&amp;nbsp; I need to keep track of my participants/customers for each class in case of cancellation or any changes to the class.&amp;nbsp; The easiest way I have found to do this is to handcopy their name, phone &amp;amp; email address off of the orders as I receive them.&amp;nbsp; My classes sell slowly over a period of weeks or months, so this is tricky to keep track of over time, cumbersome to write out and prone to mistakes in hand copying.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like to have an option to search and sort my orders by a specific class/event and then create a report with customers name/phone &amp;amp; email.&amp;nbsp; I sell other items besides classes, so my classes are all mixed in with the rest of my orders.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The other event option that you could help me with is: When my customers purchase a class I want their receipt to show the date &amp;amp; time of the class they purchased.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your help!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Have you by chance set up your &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6217-get-started-with-your-customer-directory" target="_blank"&gt;Customer directory&lt;/A&gt;? By doing so,&amp;nbsp;you'd be able to store customer information. Check out &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5498-manage-your-customer-directory-online" target="_blank"&gt;this&lt;/A&gt; handy guide on how to manage all the abilities the customer directory has to offer.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I checked out the customer directory and yes, this is helpful, but has one glitch.&amp;nbsp; I can create a list of customers for each class by using the item filter in the customer directory, this provides me with a list of each customer who purchased the class.&amp;nbsp; Then I create a group for each class and can export all the names, emails &amp;amp; phone #'s.&amp;nbsp; This is great.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The glitch is that I cannot see if customers purchase more than 1 class.&amp;nbsp; I often have the same customer purchase 2 classes (one for themselves and one for their husband/wife/friend etc), and this does not show up in these reports.&amp;nbsp; Leading me back to needing to track the info myself one by one as the receipts come in since I need to know the number of classes each person purchased.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your further help on this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I would make sure you have &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5532-manage-your-customer-directory-from-the-square-app#enable-customer-engagement" target="_blank"&gt;customer engagement &lt;/A&gt;turned on in your settings of the app. Once that is done then at the end of the sale you can add your customer to the directory:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you’ve completed a sale and haven’t tapped New Sale yet, you can still add your customer’s contact information. To do so:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. From the receipts screen, tap Add Customer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. Enter your customer’s information &amp;gt; tap Save.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you need to edit the customer added to the sale:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. From the receipts screen, tap View Customer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. Make your changes or tap Remove Customer from Sale &amp;gt; Confirm.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
