How do I set up my page to allow drop down menus?

How do I set up my page to allow drop down menus?? I can't seem to figure out how to add multiple pages to a header option. Please see the screen shot below:

This is what I'm wanting to do and this is what my setup currently looks like:

Also how can I create expandable/condensable sections for pages that have multiple sections of information? It's hard to fit everything on one page or I have a lot of scrolling to do which can be annoying for clients.

This is what I want. Exapandable/collapsable options.

HI, you can add Sub-Categories to your Header categories within the editor.

Online Dashboard, Website, Edit Site, click Header, click Navigation, click Navigation Links, you will see a popup with +Add Sub Navigation Link

No option available for expandable information on a page.

To piggyback on the question above -- I've done all the steps you listed above but when I add the subcategories to my header items it doesn't go to the item clicked on. It will just go to the main one listed in the header. Is there a way to make it where you can click on the subcatagory and go straight to it?

HI, hopefully this will make sense. The main category has to have 0 items. The sub categories with have all the items.

Holiday 0 items

Christmas 11 items

Easter 18 items

Halloween 10 items

Im having this same issue, I used to have sub categories for my beer page and now they arent there. Any updates?

Welcome back to the Community, @FoxandLion -

Do you have all of these categories in your Item Library and your Online Store?

Looking into Square Sync would be ideal to make sure that information is communicating between the two.

Let me know if this misses the mark and I will circle back.

Hi Kassi, The sync is on but I think it has to do with the page setup. If I select Shop all template can I still have one page website, like a spash page?

Ah okay, so there isn't a Splash Page setting available right now. This would be a Feature Request for our Product Team.

There is an option for a Pop-Up or Banner on your site.

Check out this Best Answer by Joe and he goes into more detail on how to get it set up.

So, I'm not sure if this is the problem but when I click other page settings it shows link to categories, but when I go to the beer page there is no option to choose category page.

I need help on this issue, too. I have followed the steps, but I don't have a "+add Sub Navigation link" to click on.

My page only has:

Link to:

Standard page

Item page

Stories

Story Page

External Link

File Link

Instagram

Gift Card

Appointments

I would like to have a drop down menu to send my clients to my products page so they don't have to scroll all the way down to get to my produts.

Could someone help me set this up? Please.

It looks like you still have to assign pages that link to the about option you added in your menu. This guide takes you through the steps to achieve this. Please let us know how you go!
