Discount Reports

We have 2 retail clothing stores. A major problem that we are having with our employees is their inability to apply store discounts correctly. We have multiple discounts. It is our policy that when purchasing an item that item can not have more than 1 discount applied to it. They do it anyway.

We need a report that breaks down discounts, showing if more than 1 discount was applied per transaction, per item. Square has in house reports that shows transactions and discounts but they don't break down the discount per transaction/item. any suggestions?

HI, from best business practices point of view, it seems the multiple discounts are the problem here. Review all your current discounts.

Are there multiple discounts that are very similar? Is there an old loyalty program that needs to be phased out? How old are these discounts? Seasonal discounts? BOGO discounts? Forgotten about discounts? etc

Best advice, restart your discount program with one discount for each store.
