Currently, when defining discount rules, you can create a discount for Items/Categories OR Customer Groups, but not both in the same rule. Can someone at Square Support correct me if I am incorrect on this? Is there anything on the roadmap for allowing discount rules that incorporate more than one variable?

Hi!

You are absolutely correct, @BofBArtStudio, at this time you can only pick one of the options.

@beeronfloyd that means that it is not possible to create an item-specific discount for a customer group. You would have to pick either one or the other, unfortunately.

There are no plans at this time to create the ability to pick more than one option, but it's something that I would suggest posting on our Ideate boards so our product teams know sellers are looking for this option.
