Hi! Our sales tax rate was inputted incorrectly (too high). I have reduced the sales tax rate to the correct amount.

Question: will the new tax rate be effective on the date it was adjusted, or is there a way to apply this correct rate retroactively - on a certain date?

Thanks!

when you change the rate it will be that going forward. There is not a way to change the tax rates on completed purchases. That would create havoc as to how would you refund the overcollection you did to all the customers with cards and cash. Those transactions are done and locked and completed.
