Is it possible to create a custom policy that appears along with my Shipping & Returns policies?

Hello,

I am looking for a way to create a policy that shows up on the bottom of each product, similarly to how the "shipping" and "return" policies do. Is there a way to create a third category there? Or alternatively, to change the title of the "shipping" or "returns" to customize it to my needs?

HI, there is no option to add additional text or informational section to the item page. Shipping policy text is standard and not able to edit.

As @Goldneye mentioned above, it's not currently possible to edit the title of your Shipping & Returns Policies, or to create a customized policy outside of these two.

I'm not entirely certain what kind of policy you'd like to add, but I wanted to point you over to this thread where someone had asked a similar question, specifically about a Privacy Policy. I hope it helps with what you're trying to accomplish on your website!

We're not sure what you mean here. Are you saying that you want to add a return policy that your customers can download?

Hey there @layla3 👋

Looking to update some past questions with recent Square changes.

For this one, Square Online checkout page includes several options to enhance the shopping experience for your business and for your customers.

You can now create Shipping and Return policies.

To do so the following steps can be performed in the Online Checkout Settings page:

Click the Add policies button to create new policies.
Enter your shipping and return policy.
When you’re finished, click Save to return to the setup page and view the policy text.

After saving, your Customers will now see this information during the checkout process. Click the Edit policies button if you need to make any changes.

@K_Archibald if you do not see the "Add Policy" button that might mean that you have already created them.

To confirm the location once again this will be under Square Online Overview > Settings > Checkout and then scroll down to Store Policies then click on Edit Policies.

When I click on edit, I only see shipping and returns. I do not have an option to add. I can only edit what is already there.

I guess we have confused each other. My update here tells you how to find and modify your Shipping and Return policies. I believed that was what you were looking for.

My apologies for the confusion @K_Archibald but modifying those two is the only policy change possible at Square at this time.

do you know where I can find "Online Checkout Settings page"??

I want to edit my return policy and shipping policy but I can't find on my dashboard..

You can access to Online Checkout Settings page here, but to edit the return policy and shipping policy please access Square Online Overview > Settings > Checkout and then scroll down to Store Policies then click on Edit Policies. Thank you!
