Would there be an issue processing the COVID Emergency Leave Pay in Payroll for back wages in 2020 and some in 2021? I initially thought of doing a lump sum but then I saw there are IRS limits of qualified wages per week. So I was trying to do it on the specific weeks the employees were affected by quarantine, home due to children, weeks of their kids and remote learning. I want to be able to pay them while also taking advantage of the IRS sick leave credits.

Any insight from the Mods, Tax Professionals, or other Owners would be helpful.

Thank you,
Vulcan Consulting IT Support
