How do I correct a 1099-NEC?

I had a contractor call me and tell me that the social security number is wrong on his 1099-NEC. How do I correct this?

Thank you for posting your question on the correcting the 1099-NEC for your contractor.

If there is any personal information is inaccurate on their forms, you can update the information by going to your Dashboard> Payroll > Payroll Team.

Changes to the draft Form 1099-NECs generate each evening and will be reflected the next day. Then, you will be able to download the updated version of the form.

I need the end of the year form that was sent to contractors corrected showing the correct social security number.
