I noticed when using the discount button to remove previously made deposits to reserve an event at my business, the after tax and deposit amount is less than it should be. When you turn on sales tax, The tax is not counted until after the deposit (discount) has been deducted from the purchase as opposed to before. We want to tax the total amount of the event not the amount after their deposit. is there a way to fix this? Currently to avoid this we had to turn off the sales tax and make sure all of our prices include tax beforehand.
