Can I add another required field for clients to add information?

Can I add another required field for clients to add information? I run a tutoring agency so I have essentially "two clients" the parent and their child. I need a field that asks: Child's name. Is that possible?

HI, yes, you can capture text for your tutoring on the item page.

Here are the breadcrumbs and screenshot to create a text box.

Online Dashboard, Items, Item Library, select your item, Edit Item, Modifiers, Manage Modifiers, +Create New, select Typing text into a text box, Text Box Label (name it), Character Limit, checkmark Mark this a required field, Save, Done

I do appointments, not items... Is there a way of editing it there?
