Membership program- store credit

Hey there,

So I'm attempting to start up a membership program at my store. Where basically people can sign up for a monthly membership and it takes a percentage off of their order and becomes store credit (like a gift card). Is there any way I can do this with like a promo code that automates it? (example. put in the code and it puts the 15% discount in and tenders that percentage to a gift card)

Hello hello and welcome @rbennett!

Unfortunately we don't have anything like that built out with our systems. At least, nothing that would automatically discount and then also automatically apply those funds onto a gift card/credit on a customer profile. That would all need to be done manually. So you would need to configure the discount, take the money saved, apply it to a gift card (because there's also not a way to have funds saved up on a customer account), and issue the gift card.

So it can be done, it would just take some manual labor and love.
