Yes, when item is being put into online shopping cart. If the item is out of stock at the location where it is being offered, customers are choosing the other location, where there is no item, but the sale is being accepted anyway, and it is not being properly subtracted from inventory. Also, the second location has a different date for pickup which is being printed on the receipt. If there is no inventory at the other location, and it says so under the item, why is it even showing up? It has resulted in inventory being sold that we don't have, and inventory being sold that is not being properly subtracted. We have had to turn off sales until we solve this problem.

Hi there, @PlantSale1 👋 Thanks for reaching out here with your question!

Would you mind clarifying a bit? Are you referring to the option to assign your items to a specific location when being created? If you could give a bit more context here, we should be able to provide a best answer for you.

Hey, @PlantSale1 - Jumping in for Joe here. Thanks for the clarification. In your case, one of the first things we need to do is to enable inventory tracking, let’s make sure this has been set up properly by taking a look at each item and location in your Square Online Dashboard for a better view. The video shown in this article talks about managing inventory for each location.

I hope this helps!
