If you are using the Square POS, you can add categories to your grid view. Then when you click on the category it will pop up a list of the items that are in that category so that you can easily choose your item.

Thank you! I am using POS but have no idea how to add a grid view? I don't recall seeing that option. Is that something I can do from my account, on my computer, at home? I am not near my POS at this time.

On your POS screen you should see boxes and different tabs. You can click and hold to edit the grid. Each empty box will then have a plus sign. Click it and add your category and the click the Done Editing button. Not w your category is there for quick access during checkout.
