Square for Restaurants - how to enter and manage a walk up order

I can't get an answer from the support desk on this. Here is the scenario:

Food trailer that appears a local breweries.

We have the Self Service ordering, which works great. The iPad gets notified, and we can manage the order as in progress and "delivered / completed" once we run the food out.

I am looking for a way to manually enter a window walk up order into the Restaurants app and manage it the same way. Right now, I have to go into the "Transactions" page of the app, which does not give me the ability to mark orders as completed.

How can I accomplish this?

I hope I'm understanding your question - let's dig in here!

If someone just walks up, you would type the items into the sale and process the payment. We don't really have a way to mark in-house orders as complete. Do you run tabs? If so, you can turn on Open Tickets and name the ticket after the person. If you have a printer, that ticket name will populate at the top so that you can find them easily. Otherwise, once a payment is processed from the POS, we assume that you got the product to your customer.

Hi Valentina, I actually figured it out! The Square KDS extension does exactly what I need. Once we enter the items into a check on the Restaurants app, then the order goes to the KDS. After the order is out, I tap twice and it's marked as "complete"
