Online ordering - Restricted dates entry limitations

For online ordering, pickup restricted dates entry allows only single day entry.

In addition there appears to be limitations on only allowing date entry three months out.

Appreciate anybody's insight or similar shared experiences.

That's correct, @KND - we introduced the Restricted Dates feature in January of this year, so it's very possible that we will fine-tune how the feature functions in the future. However, at this time, applying restricted dates in a contiguous format would be considered a feature request. If we hear of an update to this feature, we'll be sure to let you know here!

There shouldn't be anything keeping you from setting restricted dates much farther than three months out!

You can click in the Date space in order to view the calendar, and click the right arrow to move forward through the upcoming months, then select a date from the calendar:

I became aware of this feature this past week so I entered the upcoming dates we will be closed including yesterday for Veterans Day.

I tested it on two fronts, attempting to place an advance order on a day that I marked as closed and it worked properly, it was greyed out and wouldn’t allow me to place an order on that date. Secondly, I attempted to place an order for same day and it was a shambles. Not only did it allow me to go through the motions instead of stating in red “This location is not accepting orders at this time” (when ordering is toggled off) it allowed me to go through the motions without any indication we were closed and at checkout, it stated my order would be ready for pickup on the following day, no indication that we were closed.

This is not acceptable, in fact, it’s worse than toggling the entire Store off.

I don’t think so but is there any chance I’m not using it properly?
