Payment then Add items later

Is there a way to take a payment from someone and then go back later to add the items that they are purchasing from me? I am basically logging twice but taking payments through square to get them in and out of the door and then sending a separate receipt that has what all they ordered from me. Trying to track what they order because the system will not let me add all the discounts necessary for my orders when it comes to my hostess. TYIA

Appreciate you taking the time to come back and ask questions through this platform.

Unfortunately, once a payment is taken - it cannot be changed. So any items would have to be added before checkout.

Thank you for that! I will just use the other system and take payments with square. I will have to find a way to go back in and correct my inventory to make the necessary adjustments until I find a better way to have both that work together for now.
