Splitting liquor bill when items show all beers or drinks under one item.

Having problem splitting tickets with liquor items. I have say bottle beer under one item and the type of bottle as modifiers with the price. So server hits bottle beer.. then modifiers pop up.. bud..Miller lite..coors etc. she enters one.. say Budweiser.. then next person orders Coors Lite.. she presses one coors lite modifier. On the ticket it appears under Bottled Beer.. bud and coors lite ..problem is I can’t split it out. Is there a setting that separates this out swhen I split the ticket. Do I have to list each beer..hardcseltzer etc as individual item in my data base. Currently Bottled Beer is item and types are listed as a modifier I call bottled beer and lists 10 types. Just is one total on bill and I can’t separate out. Help please@

@Ashtrailgal - You're right, modifiers are tied to the item and cannot be split. You'll need to create each type of beer as individual items and perhaps add bottle and can as variations. Example:

Variations for item #1

Miller Lite - bottle

Miller Lite - can

Variations for beer #2

Coors - bottle

Coors - can

If you still want to group beers by bottle or can, categorize them. I would suggest against modifiers since they don't track inventory (assuming you want to track stock amounts).

Each one of my beers is a separate item but when my bartenders pick bus light andnthen love on the blue light it makes them type their code between beer selection.very annoying andnslow doN the process

Thanks for reaching out! Sorry to hear you are having some issues with the team code.

Is everything up to date? Have you tried disabling and enabling the passcodes? Rebooting the device?

Settings>Security>Passcodes> Toggle Off and On
