Hi All,

I have a few questions relating to the usage of Square POS in Singapore as follow, appreciate if you could shed some light based on your expertise:

1. Can Sqaure POS and the associated per-certified credit card terminal be used in Singapore?

2. If the payment terminal is not eligible for using in Singapore, can we still use Square POS for our retail business with online and in-person store in Singapore? Will it be possible to integrate Square POS with our E-commerce site for recording sales and inventory information only?

3. If the payment terminal is not eligible for using in Singapore, can we still integrate the approved third-party payment gateway with Square POS for payment processing?

4. Will there be any charges for using Square POS for in-store sales in such case given it can not provide in-person payment out of Singapore?

Hi! Since card processing is not available in Singapore yet, you won't be able to integrate Square's POS with other third party apps or card terminals. You can use Square to record cash and other non-card payments. Processing fees don't apply to these types of payments.
