Barber Shop: Team vs Location

Hello folx,

So here is what I'm trying to do:

I have a barber shop, a single location. The business model is booth rental. The way I have it set up currently is each barber is their own location so that they can receive their sales deposited directly into their bank account.

The issue I'm encountering with this is that each "location" (barber) now has a unique URL for booking. What I'm trying to accomplish is a booking page that has all barbers listed on it, BUT keep the feature of individual deposit accounts enabled so that payments aren't going into one central account.

Is this something that can be done with the "Teams" feature?

Hello @JP1980 !

Even using Teams through Square, the funds are going to be deposited into a central account unfortunately. If you want to have individual bank account deposits, you'll have to have each booth as its own location.

The good thing about using Teams though is that you can pull individual barber sales very easily on all your reports. Yeah, you'll still have to manually transfer the deposited funds, but you won't have any issue figuring out what those funds are.

@ryanwanner advice is spot on here. To keep your current set up where each barber receives their funds into their own bank account requires locations.
