Can I adjust tips from a separate device?

Hello, we run a busy bar and with our prior system using a separate credit card machine our bartenders were in the habit of adjusting their credit card tips at the end of their shift. It allowed them to spend more time serving drinks and worry about the the non-service responsibilities once their service time was over.

With Square, we've tried to do this but since the tip adjust feature is embedded in the POS itself, at shift change the bartenders getting OFF shift standing in front of the register and monopolizing it to adjust tips on 40-50 transactions makes it really difficult for the bartenders coming ON shift to use the POS themselves.

Is there a way to log in from a separate device to adjust tips on credit card transactions? Or should our servers just try to adjust as tickets come in?

@theshantyeureka you can try installing the point of sale/restaurant app whichever you are using on your phone and see if you can adjust them that way. I do not see why this wouldn't work for you. The point of sale apps are synced across devices, but I don't settle tips, but I have never seen it restricted to one tablet.
