How do I add a text box to my item

I am not sure if Square deleted this feature but I need to add a customer facing text box for customers to be able to add in their names for personalized items. I can't seem to figure out how as it is no longer a modifier option

HI, hopefully this information helps. Try using laptop to desktop.

Edit Item, Manage Modifiers, +Create New, Typing Text Box, Text Box Label, Character Limit, check box Make This A Required Field, Save.

Important detail they forgot to add: Make sure you go to Online first. Then edit site items. Then manage modifiers, and then so on and so forth.

If you try to edit your items from the square dashboard without going online first, you can create modifier sets but this personalized text box is no longer an option. Took me so long to figure that out!
