Resolution Loss in banner photos only if they are published

I have a site that requires a large banner photo. The photo displays in the correct resolution in the "preview site" function, but is downgraded when I actually publish it. It's a fairly large file, so I don't believe that is my issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you know the resolution or pixels for that picture you uploaded to your banner?

Hey Kassi, dimensions are potentially too large? Its at 4961 x 7016 and size of file 9.88

Hi @Willy_6eyes 👋 Stepping in for Kassi here since she is not in the office at the moment.

Can you post a link to your website so we can take a look? I believe we recommend images that are no larger than 1000px in width, but I'm going to see if I can confirm this.
