      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/37637"&gt;@dwilhelm&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Couple things I would try:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Make sure the square app is up to date and the android/iOS version is also fully updated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Try the scanner on another device with the point of sale to rule out anything else that might be interfering.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If those don't work you can check the warranty status here I think:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.socketmobile.com/support/socketcare/warranty-checker" target="_self"&gt;https://www.socketmobile.com/support/socketcare/warranty-checker&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If all that fails, I would check the amazon as I have bought several scanners there very affordable, but I usually go with the zebra wired one for durability and reliability.&amp;nbsp; Some of the hardware that is sold and supported by square is still third party and square just resells the stuff.&amp;nbsp; Square is really good on anything that is Square manufactured supporting faulty stuff.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
