My Star Kitchen Printer was working for a couple of months with my Square POS...and every time it disconnected, we were able to figure out how to get it back on. Now, it's been disconnected for months and we have tried EVERYTHING to get it back and we cannot figure it out. Our second system, which is the Square Stand, is still printing to to the kitchen, but I'm so worried that one will stop too and then we will be without the printing capability. Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Hi @doublebs. Ok. I’m throwing spaghetti at the wall right now, but a few questions:

Did you change your WiFi/network provider/ISP and/or router recently?

Is there any chance that the printer in question was set up as having a static IP address on the local network, and that some new device took over that IP address? Specifically, devices can be set up as having static addresses or DHCP-assigned addresses. Static addresses can always bite us eventually.

Have you tried to factory reset the printer in question, and then set it up as if it were a new device again? If so, how did your configure its network settings?

Lots of technical questions, I know. But I’m asking them because I’ve been down this road a time or tow or thousand! LOL

Regards,
