      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/598054"&gt;@mollysphunbooks&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sometimes if you enter say 1234 as a SKU and your Phone may scan 1234... so you think they are matches but actually the SKU in Square might be 1234_ where the _ is a blank space or the phone might be putting a Blank space after the Barcode scan showing a different value.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Double check what you have in the system and what your phone is scanning.&amp;nbsp; I do not know what your barcodes look like but I know Square reads S and s the same where as a phone may not read them the same also.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Same for anything that is not a number or letter.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I tried putting in the &amp;amp; and Square reads that as a 7 (shift and 7 is &amp;amp;)&amp;nbsp; This threw my ability to scan barcodes I made.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now if they match exactly try going into your Items on your device if this was a newly added item, sometimes it takes time for the hardware to update with the Back office.&amp;nbsp; By going into items and looking for that item, it seems to update the device then that you are using.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I had this happen after entering new items on the computer, but they did not show up right away on the Square Stands.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
