    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/606666"&gt;@1987cshair&lt;/a&gt;. &amp;nbsp;I did a little digging through help and through the Customer Directory. &amp;nbsp;It looks like that once a customer is unsubscribed from text messages — whether you do it or they do it — it is a permanent action and can not be undone. &amp;nbsp;I went through the unsubscribe SMS action on my customer entry and that was the message I received — that can not be undone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’m betting that this is because that is what federal communications regulations require. &amp;nbsp;Once a customer says don’t bother me, even if it was a mistake, we can’t bother them. &amp;nbsp;Having said that, you can try reaching out to the &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/contact?panel=FAB456B04971&amp;amp;skip_unit_select=true" target="_self"&gt;Customer Success Team here&lt;/A&gt; and seeing if they have a suggestion. &amp;nbsp;But I wouldn’t hold my breath. &amp;nbsp;This is one of those areas where customers need to think before they act because we, as sellers, have a strict set of guidelines that we are required to follow regarding SMS messaging.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope Square Customer Success can help you, and that I’m just missing something.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
