      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yesterday, Sunday June 11th my account was hacked. I first received a smattering of email requests asking if I wanted to change my Bank account...add a Debt card.&amp;nbsp; I ignored the and called Square.&amp;nbsp; On a Sunday. I spoke with a Rep who assured me my accounts funds were frozen.&amp;nbsp; I called back and the Rep couldnt find my account through the email account.&amp;nbsp; They had changed it somehow. I called back again because I was speaking to what sounded like an India call center and the broken English concerned me.&amp;nbsp; The first Rep spoke fine.&amp;nbsp; So upon calling back again they had broken English and could not find my account using my email.&amp;nbsp; I was on the road a few hours from my Laptop but when I got home I was able to Two Step Verification everything.&amp;nbsp; I was able to get into my account and change the email.&amp;nbsp; However an unknown Debt Card had been added as well as a Bank account with Choice Financial Group.&amp;nbsp; My transfers were switche dto Automatic instead of Manual. I was able to switch my accounts back but that Bank account is still lingering.&amp;nbsp; I will have a Sq Rep remove it.&amp;nbsp; Im waiting on a call back from the Security Team (Supposedly) to speak with them after they have done their investigations.&amp;nbsp; Im still uneasy,&amp;nbsp; Super Bummed.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

(knock on wood)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 2 step verification enabled since then and my website does not promote my Credit Card Processor.&amp;nbsp; I just wanted to figure out if you were hacked even with the 2 step verification enabled.&amp;nbsp; I always get texts when I try to access my account from a new device and then have to enter the security code that was sent to my cell phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now I also saw you asked in another thread if your cell phone could be hacked.&amp;nbsp; With technology the way it is and hackers the way they are.... I am not saying it is or is not possible but could be.&amp;nbsp; Since they got into your square account somehow, they were able to switch banks and would have been able to see your connected phone number.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for sharing :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Everytime I see something like this I check all my security settings again and change passwords.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hate HACKERS!!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I id not have Two Step verification.&amp;nbsp; I thought it was a real nuisance.&amp;nbsp; I enabled it quickly after realizing I was getting hacked.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;It seems to have worked.&amp;nbsp; Now Im waiting on a call back from Sq regarding my account.&amp;nbsp; I hope its not some scammer.&amp;nbsp; I was racing against the clock yesterday after my account was breached.&amp;nbsp; I was on the road.&amp;nbsp; No computer.&amp;nbsp; It was a nightmare.&amp;nbsp; These guys went into my bank account and even ordered a GrubHub off Venmo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Since they ordered off of GrubHub.... I wonder if you file a Police Report if they can get the Address where the food was sent?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you say they went into your Bank to order food do you mean a bank outside of Square or a Square Banking account?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try using another phone to call Square since you think your phone was hacked and call Square support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/4993-contact-square-support" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;4993-contact-square-support&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would not wait for them to call you back and try to get this fixed asap.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
