Is there a way to add SITE CATEGORY in the Item Library?

When adding new items, we have to go to two different places...

1. Item Library to add the Item Category

2. Site Items to add the Site Category.

Is there a way to do this in one step?

Any info would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hi @ShopVerde Currently, that is the only way to do it. I, and others, have submitted requests to combine and streamline item creation and maintenance, but I’ve seen no announcements about beta tests or anything yet. If you want to be notified when product updates occurs, you should subscribe to this page.

Just wanted to confirm that this is really needed. I am in the process of putting our entire inventory on the website and it is very frustrating to not be able to add the Site Category in the item library. Thanks!

Seems like this is a new change. Just a couple weeks ago I was doing it in my item and now I have to do the 2 window steps. Very frustrating.
