Why my Door Dash total Gross Sales does not match with total Square is reporting

How do you reconcile your Door Dash sales with Square sales? is it a match?

for example if Door Dash reports $500 on gross sales in April, is that the amount Square should be reporting as well for the month of April?

My sales on both platforms are off. I am just trying to figure this out

Are you ONLY selling through DoorDash with Square or do you sell in Person with Square also?

So if you sold say $500 through doordash with their delivery and another $1000 in customer Pickup then no the Gross sales will not match. You would need to see just your DoorDash sales in Square versus what DoorDash is reporting. Since I do not use DoorDash or any local delivery methods I cannot tell you how to see this in Square. I am just answering your Generic question if they should match and explaining why they may not match.
