Hello. Can the old square reader be "traded in" for the newer model ? It would make things easier to be able to charge on the newer port. My older reader works fine and didn't feel the need to "buy" a new one.

Hi @CannedFresh. I know of no “trade up” program that Square has. You might be able to sell your existing reader on a used market somewhere, but given the relatively inexpensive prices for new readers, I’m not sure that you could get much for it.
