    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/619964"&gt;@EmilyAndros&lt;/a&gt;. &amp;nbsp;I’ve never heard of Square emailing any seller about declined/rejected charges. &amp;nbsp;Even when online store users are declined for whatever reason, they receive the notice right then and there, and they are given the chance to try a different card. &amp;nbsp;There is a log of declinations, but I think that is as far as it goes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I strongly suspect these are not from Square, but rather phishing scams. &amp;nbsp;Don’t click on any links or open any attachments, if there are any. &amp;nbsp;But do go to the email header and click on the sender to see what the email address is. &amp;nbsp;If it is not &lt;A href="mailto:xxxxxx@squareup.com" target="_blank"&gt;xxxxxx@squareup.com&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;then it is not from Square. &amp;nbsp;You are being scammed and should just ignore them.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I received emails from Square with REJECTED unknown charges - two emails. One with a charge that didn't go through and the other from Square saying a charge was rejected because it came from an unserviced country.&amp;nbsp; Should I do something to further protect my money?&amp;nbsp; Thank you, everyone.&amp;nbsp; Emily&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my post.&amp;nbsp; I went back and looked at the two different emails and they both come from&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H3&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;noreply@messaging.squareup.com&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Does that seem like a legit email to you?&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;There were two emails - one saying a charge that I MADE hadn't gone through (with a vendor I hadn't heard of but when I Googled the name, it appeared to be ok or maybe ok) and a second saying this:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;"Your recent $1.00 transaction at Temporary Hold using&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Square&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;Debit Card (ending in 2432) was declined because you attempted to pay a merchant who is in an unsupported country."&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;That second email was the one that concerned me since I hadn't tried to charge anything with someone overseas.&amp;nbsp; Do you think I need to do something to double protect myself because maybe someone has my Square credit card number????&amp;nbsp; If so what? Should I request a replacement debit card?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Thank you again.&amp;nbsp; Emily Andros&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/619964"&gt;@EmilyAndros&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;That is definitely a very valid Square email address. &amp;nbsp;Anything ending in squareup.com is valid. &amp;nbsp;And if these charges don’t seem right to you and you don’t remember purchasing anything from an overseas web site, then you should lock your card and request a new one. &amp;nbsp;Also, check your recent activity to be sure there aren’t others you need to dispute.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Get online and go to Dashboard -&amp;gt; Balance -&amp;gt; Select Location. &amp;nbsp;Click on the settings gear at the top-right, and select “Lock card.” &amp;nbsp;This will cause all further transactions to be immediately rejected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then click on “Get help with Checking.” Pick the problem that is yours, the click on the “Deactivate and replace” button. &amp;nbsp;Follow those instructions to get a replacement card.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you need live human help, &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/contact?panel=FAB456B04971&amp;amp;skip_unit_select=true" target="_self"&gt;get on the phone with Square Support&lt;/A&gt; on Monday after 6am PST. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you need anything else, let me know. &amp;nbsp;Good luck!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
