Hey fellow sellers.

I have created a checkout link for a live event. However the taxes are only calculating on if someone enters an address that is also in that state. For example the event is in New Mexico, when I enter a Portland address, it does not calculate tax.

I have toggled on the apply tax to all sales items and it still does the above.

Been online with the Square chat for three hours and they cannot solve it.

Even tried creating a new event as digital, still asking for an address and doing the same tax things as above.

Can you help?

@gomojogo ;

Create the event, put the price of the ticket to include the tax where you need the tax rate to be. Then when a person buys the ticket the tax will be included already.

So if your Ticket price is $50 per ticket and tax is 6% that would make the Total price $53.00.

New Price would be $53.00 Tax included.

Hopefully that would work for you.
