The chip card must be inserted." I have contacted support and they are not aware of the issue. But what happens is because it's a cash card, it deducts the balance by preauthorizing the card. The payment doesn't go through on our side. And then the customer gets the balance back at the end of the night. However, many of the kids are trying multiple times and ending up with nothing on their cash cards because they preauthorized all their money.
