How to make coupon code box visible to customers

How do I make the box to enter coupon codes visible for my customers?
I am using item links. I do not have any other automatic or manual discounts activated anywhere on the site. I have just four items currently active (events).
This has been incredibly frustrating. I've read about twenty forum posts so far, with no fix.

@JoshuaPrietoPh Looking at your screenshots, I think I found what you’re missing. Your screenshots show that the coupon itself is active, but Square has a separate setting that controls whether the coupon box appears on Payment Links/item links.

Go to:

Square Dashboard → Payments & orders → Payment links → Settings → General

Then look for Coupons and turn on Enable coupons.

Once that is enabled, Square says a coupon-code field should appear on the payment-link checkout screen. Your existing active coupon should then be usable there.

The setting is separate from creating the coupon, which is why having an active coupon by itself doesn’t automatically make the box appear.

After turning it on, I’d open one of your item links in a private/incognito browser window and test it.
