Firstly, as this is a basic question on charges I will say that I have tried thru chat and email to get some answers and have had no success which is unfortunate. My issue is with the charges (HIGH) that makes me think I have not set something up correctly or the community can assist in reducing these. I set up an ITEM on my iphone and charged the customers VISA manually -card input on my phone. For the full picture I charged 1080.00 inc GST and the guest was charged 1099.44 and nett we are due to receive is 999.49. All AUD Can someone please advise why this is so high or rateher why our nett is so low. with thanks and appreciate the help

HI @MELBTOUR

Welcome to the Square Community. That fee seems pretty high for sure, especially given your location you should be much less than what we would be charged here in the states, even with a manually keyed in entry. I guess to start, if you could login to your Square Dashboard, navigate to Payments & Invoices>Transactions. Click on the transaction in question, and then on the right hand side when the details pull up, scroll down to the bottom and it will give you a break down of your transaction fees associated, if you don't mind starting there.
