Hey there @Jody8. So, first I need to clear up what seems to be a common misconception. Square DOES NOT push anything to your QBO account. Square provides APIs that Intuit/Quickbooks uses to retrieve information from our Square accounts and then uses that information to update their (Intuit/QB) files. Intuit/QB is responsible for this and therefore they are the ones who have to fix any problems. I'm 100% certain that Square told all third-party developers about any changes they were making to their APIs long before they. made them. It was up to the third-party developers to address those changes and make whatever adjustments to their apps that were needed. So.....

When using third-party apps that integrate with our Square accounts, our first course of action is to contact the third-party. Provide them with the documentation needed so that they understand your problem. Trust me when I say they will tell you it is Square's problem. This is rarely, if ever, the case. Usually the problem is that they are just slow in adapting to the changes that were made by Square -- changes that they knew about but didn't adjust to. Either that, or Intuit/QB introduced a bug in their connection with Square that they need to fix.

Bug, again, this is not on Square most of the time. When using third-party apps, the issue is usually with the third-party. And, in those rare cases when it is not the third party's problem, ONLY the third-party can coordinate with Square to resolve the issue. We can't. So, start with Intuit/QB.

When Squareup app upgraded in late October 2025, it recorded square payments in my QuickBooks Online undeposited funds account and as payments. Now my QBO undeposited funds account contains all of the Square transactions from 10-24-2025 to 12-30 2025. None of these should be in QBO undeposited funds. How do I stop them from coming into undeposited funds account?

Thanks RealChipA. That's the best explanation of the problem so far. It helps me understand more about the integration process. So far I've found no solution in working with Quickbooks online customer service reps. Will post again if it gets worked out.
