Art Gallery Membership Cards

I run an art gallery and we’re planning to offer a yearly membership. Customers would make a one-time purchase each year, and in return, they could visit the gallery as many times as they like during that year.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to track usage of these membership cards. Does anyone know if Square or similar platforms can handle this type of annual membership, including tracking how often members visit?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @aaditya014. So, currently Square does not offer a complete solution for this. While there is such a thing as Square Subscriptions, it does not do everything you want -- including tracking how often members visit. In fact, it is only good for shipping fulfillment types right now I'm honestly not sure this is ever going to be remedied, though. Over a year ago, Square released Subscriptions v2 and at that time some of us identified these glaring omissions. But since that release, we've been met with a wall of deadly silence.

So...... in the Square App Marketplace, you'll find third-party apps that integrate with our Square accounts. One membership app I'm familiar with is Event Ticket & Membership. It seems to have what you want, but of course you'll need to thoroughly check it out. You can also search for keywords (membership, subscriptions, etc) to find other apps that might work for you.
